All I can say as a survivor is...take with a HUGE grain of salt what the doctors predict. Only YOU know what you're capable of..not them !!(If it was up to them, I'd still be in a wheelchair..for the rest of my life !) NOT!

My mom recently had a stroke but fortunately she's just fine now.

My great grandma survived a stroke and is now "spastic"It sucks.

Strokes are dreadful things, My father had two before he died.

Well, I certainly hope science keeps progressing at this pace, even faster. As a younger person myself, I never really think about things like strokes and other ailments that generally come with older age. Who know what we all have in store for us in the future, I support science 100% and consider it a leading nesessity that we should all make as our foundation of life, instead of relying on false hopes with religion.sin

Not everyone recovers from a stroke. It has Been 7yrs for my Gramps and still paralized on right side.We Love him lots we would not be here if it wasn't for him... So we All help.

I know just how stroke`s can affect people, my work mate had one about 7 years ago, been from a very healthy man one day and then been in a wheel chair for the rest of his life the next was very hard to take in, he lost his speech but got it back sometime later, Thanks Jase |
