This one is short. I agree. But it's also pretty cool.[--NOTES--]My first actual attempt with Trapcode Particular within Adobe After Effects. I simply make a light streak out of my hands and it triggers a light ball, which makes me, apparently, disappear.[--THE TECHINAL STUFF--]I used Trapcode Particular to generate a custom particle, then I animated it using a null object. After animating the null object's position to match my hand movement, I made a light ball using the 105mm Prime preset in the effect Lens Flare. I then keyframed the brightness of the lens flare, and I made it fade out to a still image of the area, without my body there. Lastly, I did some mask rotoscoping to give it the effect that when I draw a light streak while I turn, the streak is behind me, rather in front of me...
